Buck Blunder 1 – Buck Martinez claimed that 9 players who were on the opening day roster are currently not on this team, either in the minors or out of the organization. I looked back and there are 10 which are: Jason Nix (DFA – Las Vegas 51s), Travis Snider (Minors – Las Vegas 51s), Mike McCoy (Minors – Las Vegas 51s), Juan Rivera (DFA – LA Dodgers), Jo-Jo Reyes (DFA – Baltimore Orioles), Kyle Drebek (Minors – Las Vegas 51s), Carlos Villanueva (15 day DL), Marc Rzepcynski (Trade – St. Louis Cardinals), Jason Frasor (Trade – Chicago White Sox), David Purcey (DFA – Oakland A’s -> Detroit Tigers -> Toledo Mud Hens). If you are wondering, Octavio Dotel was on the DL and Corey Patterson came up during the Seattle Mariners Series in April.

Buck Blunder 2 – Buck Martinez said the game was 6-4 in favour of the A’s, but it was actually 6-2.

Buck Blunder 3 – Buck Martinez mentioned that David DeJesus and Jemile Weeks both had the day off but DeJesus was in the lineup. (Contributed by @ShakeelSalamath)

Buck Blunder 4 – Buck Martinez said Brett Lawrie’s walk was a 2-out walk when it was only 1. (Contributed by @Jays_GiantsFan)

Buck Blunder 1 – In the 2nd inning, Buck Martinez said J.P. Arencibia was hitting 9th, but he’s the 8th hitter. He corrected himself.

Buck Blunder 2 – Buck Martinez says today’s St.Louis starting pitcher is Kyle McLendon :p (Contributed by @coolhead2010)

Buck Blunder 3 – Buck Martinez also says that today’s Toronto starting pitcher is Ricky Monero :p (Contributed by @rallycap_andy and @s_poole420)

Buck Blunder 4 – Although it is a different sport, Buck Martinez said that the Women’s FIFA World Cup was the Gold Cup. It’s ok.. different sport, but yeah.. come on… Who’s feeding you this info or are you making it up all by yourself. (Contributed by @ajacob24)

Buck Blunder 5 – Matt Halladay STRIKES AGAIN! (Contributed by @s_poole420)

Buck Blunder 6 – When Corey Patterson and Juan Rivera dropped the ball in Left-Center Field, Buck Martinez mentioned that Patterson did the same thing in Atlanta with Jose Bautista on Drew Stubbs’ inside the park homerun. Well Stubby doesn’t play for the Braves, so the correct answer is that they did it in Cinnci. (Contributed by @JerrySchaq)

Buck Blunder 7 – Ricky Romero is at 3rd, I mean 2nd.. Jumping the gun there Buck Martinez! (Contributed by @KatiePammett and @gosensgo101)

Buck Blunder 8 – Buck Martinez though the Blue Jays swept the Chicago White Sox at the Rogers Centre, but he quickly corrected himself as the Blue Jays took 3 out of 4. (Contributed by @AlanClough)

Buck Blunder 1 – In the top of the first, Buck Martinez called Corey Patterson, Corey Patters.

Buck Blunder 2 – When Yunel Escobar steals 2nd, Buck Martinez initially calls it a wild pitch (Beachy threw a wild pitch), but then he corrected himself saying it was a stolen base. (Contributed by @GuzmansJhercurl)

Buck Blunder 3 – Buck says that Beachy strikes out the side, but then quickly says, after the Yunel Escobar lead off single :p(Contributed by @JasonMcAmmond)

Buck Blunder 4 – When Juan Rivera came to bat, he got jammed by an inside fastball, but Buck Martinez goes, “Pitch jammed by the pitch”

Buck Blunder 5 – When the Blue Jays were down 4-1 and a runner in scoring position, Buck martinez said that with one hit, the Blue Jays can cut the lead down in half. That doesn’t really make sense here :p 3 runs down minus 1 run is 2 runs which is not half of 3 :p (Contributed by @slew37, @alittlehghas, and @jordangeville)

Buck Blunder 6 – Buck Martinez made a mistake in calling the interleague, winter league. He corrected himself very fast. (Contributed by @AlanClough)

Buck Blunder 7 – Buck Martinez said that Brian McCann has hit a pair of homeruns in this game. No Buck, he’s hit a pair of homeruns in the series. (Contributed by @jaygammy)

Buck Blunder 1 – Buck Martinez again can’t get the count right.. When a batter comes up to bat, the count is 0-0, not 0-2 Buck! (Contributed by @toysubmarine)

Buck Blunder 2 – Buck Martinez called Jose Molina, Rivera…. I guess they look kinda similar

Buck Blunder 3 – Buck Martinez makes a mistake by calling Carlos Villanueva with the Kansas City Royals catcher, Pena.

Buck Blunder 4 – I’m sure Buck Martinez is being fed this information, but he keeps saying Howie Mandel is the host for America’s Got Talent, but he’s a judge. (Contributed by @jordangeville)

Buck Blunder 5 – Buck Martinez calls a fastball a slow breaking ball for Casey Janssen :p (Contributed by @dwarshafsky)

Buck Blunder 1 – During the beginning of the game, Buck Martinez’s mic wasn’t working… Buck Blunders did not sabotage his mic :p We want him to talk and bring on the blunders. (Contributed by @gabrielle_teece, @tonyexhibitx, @bizarrojamie, and @jaysfan652)

Buck Blunder 2 – I have a feeling that Buck Martinez has given up on saying “Encarnacion” correctly.. Now he’s calling him Edward Encarnacion! (Contributed by @JaysDome and @iainsut)

Buck Blunder 3 – So apparently, Jose Bautista has a lot of votes… 1.2 million billions of dollars worth! Wooo.. that’s a lot of votes… and money.. wish i had that kinda dough… I would do a Buck Martinez hair piece promo giveaway for every home game. (Contributed by @tonyexhibitx and @rallycap_andy)

Buck Blunder 4 – Buck Martinez sure knows his old pitching coach.. Mike.. I mean Mark Connors.. Way to go Buck! (Contributed by @iainsut)

Buck Blunder 5 – Apparently Buck Martinez doesn’t know the difference between the number 1 overall pick and a first round pick. Mixed them up when talking about the June 6th draft… I wonder if we’ll draft Josh Bell and give him mega bucks! (Contributed by @craiger1989)

Buck Blunder 6 – When J.P. Arencibia was up to bat in the top of the 5th, he had a 1-1 count on him. He swung and fouled the ball back, but Buck said that J.P. had a 1-2 count :p (Contributed by @slew37)

Buck Blunder 7 – When talking about Brian Roberts, Buck Martinez said that he had Post Concussion Syndrome, but I believe he had Post Concussion Symptoms. (Contributed by @McCarthy6)

Buck Blunder 8 – Buck Martinez called a 75mph thrown pitch a fastball… Maybe in a rec league… but not for Los Del V (see @wilnerness590 for that reference). (Contributed by @dmfromtoronto)

Buck Blunder 9 – When Buck Martinez was talking about what’s on Sportsnet tonight, he mentioned the Angels were in Los Angeles to take on the Yankees. He didn’t mention that the Angels were at home so it kinda sounded like the Angels were going to Los Angeles to face the home team Yankees. (Contributed by @gomego11)

Buck Blunder 10 – In the bottom of the 6th, Buck Martinez calls Luke Scott, Aaron Scott.

Buck Blunder 11 – Buck Martinez screws up Juan Rivera’s name… Ron Wivera… Lovely! (Contributed by @77hendriks)

Buck Blunder 12 – We have another Justin Frasor sighting!!! (Contributed by @JAYSandPATS)

Buck Blunder 13 – In the top of the ninth, I think Buck Martinez had Jose Bautista on his mind, but he blurted out a Jose Davis reference! Too bad Jose Davis wasn’t batting or doing something, cause that’s the cue for Rajai Davis to go nuts! (Contributed by @BlueJaysChirps)

Buck Blunder 14 – When J.P. Arencibia hit the grand slam homerun, Buck Martinez said Felix Pierre was running back.. You mean Pie (Pee-ay), not Juan Pierre. Video evidence proves contributor @dmfromtoronto got that Buck Blunder right!

Buck Blunder 1 – In the top of the first, Buck Martinez said Corey Patterson was in perfect position to catch a fly ball, but he had to go way back to get it :p (Contributed by @BlueJayGal)

Buck Blunder 2 – When Jose Bautista comes up to bat in the bottom of the first inning, Buck Martinez said it was the same situation as yesterday’s game where he hit the Homerun. He said it was 1st and 3rd yesterday, but it was really 1st and 2nd yesterday :p

Buck Blunder 3 – At one point in time, Buck Martinez says Brent Morel was playing 2nd base, but he was actually playing 3rd base today. (Contributed by @gosensgo101)

Buck Blunder 4 – Ron Rivera? I guess Ron does sound like Juan… So Buck Martinez thinks Rivera isn’t as Hispanic as is by giving him a more English first name :p (Contributed by @tonyexhibitx and @joeybadoey)

Buck Blunder 1 – In the top of the 3rd, Buck Martinez said that Brandon Morrow had a 1-2-3 inning and retired 9 in a row… At first he was going to say 7 in a row… but it was actually 8 in a row. (Contributed by @markchech)

Buck Blunder 2 – When talking about how Adam Dunn could playing in the NFL, Buck Martinez said he could play in the NL :p (Contributed by @craiger1989)

Buck Blunder 3 – Buck Martinez repeats himself with useless chatter. “Right-handed hitting Carlos Quentin, a right-handed batter”. (Contributed by @dmf61)

Buck Blunder 4 – Hello Juan Bautista…. (Contributed by @slew37 and @Leluso)

Buck Blunder 1 – When Corey Patterson hits a double to the right field wall, Buck Martinez says that Magglio Ordonez was playing right field, when it’s Casper “The Friendly Ghost” Wells. (Contributed by @_skennedy)

Buck Blunder 2 – When Juan Rivera comes up to bat, Buck Martinez says he went hitless yesterday like everyone in the Blue Jays lineup yesterday. Kinda of a reference fail since Jose Bautista and Aaron Hill were not in the lineup yesterday.

Buck Blunder 3 – In the bottom of the 9th, Buck Martinez was saying that Granderson is tied with Jose Bautista with the most home runs in the AL with 10 HRs. He said that Curtis hit 2 Homeruns last night, but that was Friday night :p. (Contributed by @Dertz41)

Buck Blunder 1 – In the top of the first inning, Buck mention’s Jose Bautista’s AL leading average, but says it’s .262, instead of .362. (Contributed by @gomego11)

Buck Blunder 2 – In the top of the 4th inning, Buck calls Travis Snider, Carlos Snider after his strikeout. Probably because Carlos Villanueva just entered the game.

Buck Blunder 3 – In the top of the 4th, Jose Bautista is up with 2 runners on base. Buck Martinez talks about Bautista’s career grand slam. Little did he know that Corey Patterson wasn’t on 3rd. (Contributed by @tonyexhibitx & @gomego11)

Buck Blunder 4 – In the top of the 4th, Jose Bautista hit a double to the Left Power Alley. When the play is dead, Buck says that Jose Bautista tied up the game, but really it was 6-5 Texas Rangers. He later said the score and I’m pretty sure he was thinking, “Damn, this is going on buckblunders.com”. Buck Blunder 5 – In the top of the 5th, Juan Rivera is up with no one on. The game is 6-5 in favour of the Texas Rangers and Buck Martinez says “Rivera could give the Blue Jays the lead with a HR….” NOT! (Contributed by @JaysRamblings)

Buck Blunder 6 – In the bottom of the 5th, Buck Martinez refers to Carlos Villanueva as the Middle Reliever, but he’s the Long Reliever. (Contributed by @tonyexhibitx)

Buck Blunder 7 – In the bottom of the 8th, Arthur Rhodes throws a 90 MPH fastball to Snider, but Buck Martinez calls it a breaking ball. (Contributed by @michealholic)

Buck Blunder 8 – Buck Martinez calls Derek Holland, Derek Collins.

Buck Blunder 9 – In the top of the 9th, Juan Rivera hits a liner to left and Buck Martinez says it popped out of David Murphy’s glove, but it was a trap ball. (Contributed by @The_Road_Guy)

Observations – Throughout the entire game, Buck keeps calling Litsch, “Liss” or “Linch”.(Contributed by @Leluso)

Buck Blunder 1 – In the top of the first inning, when Jose Bautista comes up to bat, Matt Harrison checks on the runner at second and Buck says “Harrison checks on the runner Bautista… I mean Yunel Escobar.”

Buck Blunder 2 – In the top of the third inning, Mike McCoy is batting and fouls a ball to right. He says “McDonald on the move… Sorry I meant Snider.” (Contributed by @gomego11).

Buck Blunder 4 – In the top of the 9th, when Adam Lind comes up to bat, Buck says that Miguel Cabrera leads the majors in RBIs, but he corrected himself and said it was Adrian Gonzalez.
